Defender Frankie Bastone has always excelled at United. He came over to United at age 15 from the Irvine Strikers soccer club and quickly earned a starting position. Over the years, Bastone has helped the current U18, who became the Coast Soccer League 2010 U19 Premier champs. The team then moved up to the number #1 team in the nation slot. Bastone has amazing physical speed, he is excellent in one versus one duels, and a great passer and crosser of the ball. United FC has benefited a great deal by having Bastone as a member.
