
Christian Gonzales joined UFC at age 11 and as always excelled, over the years he has consistently played a year up. Christian has led the 93 Premier team in the scoring department for the past 7 years.
Over the past 4 years Christian becomes
the 39th male player to commit to an athletic Soccer scholarship. Over the weekend Christian and his family traveled to Northridge for the third and final time, he and his family was shown the entire athletic facility, his dorms, admissions office, bookstore, and he was able to meet the entire 2010 CSUN Men's Soccer team, all of this convinced Christian and his family that this was the place for him.
Christian had numerous Interest from such schools as UC Irvine, UCSD, UC Davis, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State San Bernardino, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal Poly SLO In the end Cal State Northridge proved to be a better fit.
Cal State Northridge is a Division 1 program, that play in the Big West, along with UCI, UC Davis, Cal Poly SLO, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Fullerton, last season the Matadors earned a conference play off appearance only to loose to Big West powerhouse UCSB 0-1.
