United GU13 Black team continues to improve

The girls competed in the Albion Cup National Soccer Showcase the weekend of July 19-21, 2014. The team played hard and showed their strong resolve to play hard and compete every minute of each game throughout the weekend. The team went undefeated the entire weekend with 4 wins and 1 tie, scoring 10 goals and only allowing 3 against. All 4 wins were shutouts including the final in which the girls won 3-0. Great weekend and congratulations to all the girls.

Congratulations to the B00 Gold team coached by UFC College Academy Director Arick Lassiter as champions of Carlsbad Cup 2014 Gold flight. 

With only one goal scored against during the Kickin' It Challenge, the United G03 Black team took the Siliver Division title with an impressive record of four wins and no losses. 

United B01G won the Carlsbad Cup Gold Flight championship with a 6-5 pk shootout win over Rancho Santa Fe Attack, after tying 2-2 at the end of regulation.
The boys battled hard and showed great character in the championship game losing two players to injury and despite leading 1-0 and 2-1, had to settle for pks.
During pool play, United B01G defeated Albion Premier 1-0, Carlsbad United FC-Walker 5-3 after being down 1-3 at HT and finally, a 3-0 win over SDFA.
A great weekend of soccer meant that B01G have now won 3 tournament championship finals in a row in 2014.  Congratulations boys!

The United FC BU15 Gold competed for a National Championship in Germantown Maryland.  The biggest tournament in the Nation compiled of only 8 of the best teams in the Country to see who would take home the coveted US Youth Soccer Trophy.  


B04 Gold, coached by Joshua Stringer, took first place in the 2014 Irvine Summer Classic.  The team went undefeated in their first three games by outscoring their opponents 17 to 4, including one shutout.  The boys finished the weekend off in a physical battle that resulted in their second shutout of the tournament.  Congratulations to the boys on their win!

Congratulations to B04 Gold on their win in the Joy Fawcett Classic BU9 - 1 category, coached by Jr. Academy Director Joshua Stringer.  The team outscored their opponents 21-3 in the first three games, including a 9-0 shutout over the Galaxy, to advance to the Championship Game.  Building on their momentum, the boys won a hard-fought and well-coached 3-2 victory over West Coast FC to win the Championship.
