Bio: Coach Farrell is a graduate of Chapman University with a BSBA and a focus in Marketing. He currently runs a family owned business. He is married and has 14 year old twins. Kevan was raised in a soccer family. His father played professionally in Scotland and Canada before making his way to California. Kevan started playing club soccer at the age of six and still plays in local adult leagues. He developed his love for coaching when his twins started playing AYSO at the age of six.
Kevan played his high school soccer at Fountain Valley H.S. He was captain of the team his senior year. Despite missing every league game but one in his senior season, due to a knee injury, he was still named to the All League Team. After high school he attended Orange Coast College where he played and was Captain of the team. After one season he left to Richmond University in London, England. He played two seasons for the school team and also played on two local club teams in the London area. Kevan returned home to attend Chapman University on a soccer scholarship, where he played his final two collegiate seasons. Kevan has coached both boys and girls for the club. His previous girls team has won league and promoted in back to back seasons. Last season his GU14 team made it to the round of 16 in National Cup play. In his 5 years with UFC his teams have been tournament champions 6 times and finalist 5 times.

He loves the game of soccer and has a passion for teaching the game. He works hard to improve the skills of his players and their understanding of the game. Improving and nurturing their confidence is equally important to Kevan. He believes soccer and all competitive athletics can be a very positive influence on a young person's future.
