Bio: Coach Kirkwood is currently the Head Coach at Long Beach Wilson High School, where he has piled up four Moore League Championships with a league record of 45-0-3 over those four years. He was also voted Moore League coach of the year three times. The 2007-2008 season was a historical season in which Long Beach Wilson won the Aliso Cup, Mater Dei Premier Invitational, undefeated Moore League Champions, CIF Champions, the first ever Socal Regional Champions, and earn the National Champions in the NSCAA poll and the studentsportssoccer.com poll.He loves the game of soccer and has a passion for teaching the game. He works hard to improve the skills of his players and their understanding of the game. Improving and nurturing their confidence is equally important to Kevan. He believes soccer and all competitive athletics can be a very positive influence on a young person's future.
