Initiated in the 2008/09 season, the United FC Fitness & Finishing Program (aka FFP®) is provided to UFC members ages U13 and above as a part of the player tuition.
Program Features
- Each training will have a focus on one area of strength and conditioning including but not limited to: strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, agility, speed, power, plyometrics, and aerobic endurance.
- At the start and end of the program each player will be put through tests that focus on each area of strength and conditioning.
- When players finish with the strength and conditioning portion of each session they will then participate in the technical portion of the session.
- Technical portion will consist of but not limited to passing, receiving, crossing, finishing, and possession.
- Training sessions for the younger's will focus mainly on balance, coordination, agility, plyometrics, and speed. There will be no emphasis on strength (resistance training).
