UNITED FC BU14 GOLD MAINTAIN THE NATIONS #1 RANKING

United FC Gold have not lost a game since it lost 2-1 the Force at last years Surf Cup during the semi finals, that was back in August of 2012, last weekend UFC defeated FC Golden State and Hammers FC to earn a place at this Summers Regional Championships in Hawaii. Head coach Bryan Wallace who was last years Cal South Coach of the year will make his 5th consecutive appearance at the regional championships in Hawaii where his team will seek to defend the title it won in 2012.

New England Revolution’s Pre-Academy squad is 5-0 since resuming Northeast Pre-Academy League play in March, has only conceded a single goal in those five matches, and climbs from #21 to #11 in our standings. Revolution will have a true test when it faces #1 New York Red Bulls for the second time on April 20. The Revs handed New York Red Bulls its only loss on the season back in October.

FC Golden State Academy re-emerges into the TeamRank Top 25 this month at #20 after a runner up finish (behind #1 United FC Gold) in the Far West Regional League spring season, and a quarterfinal finish at Dallas Cup.



United FC B98 Gold Play Friendly Against BU14 US National Team

U.S Under-14 Boys National Team head coach Hugo Perez has has bestowed the great honor of inviting United FC B98 Gold (U14) team to play a friendly game versus U14 U.S. National Team at the Home Depot Center Wednesday November 21st @ 8 :00pm. Entrance to the game is free of charge to all United FC players, families and friends. 

Head coach Perez has called up 36 players from across the USA to represent the U14 National Team, plus two players currently playing abroad at FC Barcelona in Spain and Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia.  

The United FC B98 Gold team, Coached by Bryan Wallace, has been one of the most successful youth team in the history of our club, and has compiled and Incredible record over the past two years including 2011 Surf Champions, 2012 Cal South National Cup Champions, 2012 Dallas Cup Champions, 2012 Far West regional champions, 2011 and 2012 United Cup Champions and 2012 SCDSL South Champions.

The Long Term Rewards of Player Development

The Boys 99 Black team has made significant progress over the years and is a testament to the quality of training United FC provides for its players. Improving from a Coast Soccer League U10 Bronze team to a team that is currently ranked #14 in the Nation by TopDrawerSoccer reflects the unmatched commitment exhibited from players and staff. This year the team finished 2nd in Flight 1 South of the SCDSL and 2nd in the Southern California Division of the PDNPL. With wins over previous CalSouth National Cup Finalists (L.A. Galaxy and Pateadores LA) the team has proven its ability to compete with the best teams in the nation. As you will observe in the attached video clip, the team is poised for even greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

UFC's Charlie Wehan Makes Jump to US National Team

CW_USNat_TeamCharlie has always been an exceptional talent, however over the last year he has improved his game and received national recognition becomming one of forty '98 pool players to receive an invite to the US National Team training camp July 28th-August 5th. 

In the last year Charlie led the B98 Gold team to numerous titles including 2011 United Cup, 2011 Nomads, 2011 Albion Cup, 2012 Cal South National Cup, 2012 Dallas Cup, 2011 Celtic Cup, 2012 Copa Laguna, 2012 Far West Regional's and a team national #1 ranking.  

We are incredibly proud of you Charlie.
